Even something as expensive as $$$$$$ target foreigners is cheaper than gogo bars, when you factor in local online girls then cannot compete.

I agree that a number of these Agogo bars are charging an arm & leg, especially to foreigners.

However, before the setting up of those freelance websites, I too started my "sourcing & search" at these Agogo bars and soapy massage joints.

Tried before those freelance search websites in Vietnam, like you did. They can be a hit and miss. Had my good times there before....

Been almost a year since I last stepped into Bangkok and the entertainment places like NEP, Soi Cowboy or even some of those oilies massage joints in Sukhumvit Soi 24 area

While the prices at Rainbows Agogo can be high and some of the gals were asking for crazy rates like 6000 - 8000 TBH for LT, kinda missed NEP.

Also, some of the slightly better looking Agogo gals are found in Rainbows bars, which Rainbow 4 is one of the usual places that I will pop in to take a look.

This is such bad news! My long term regulars work in the Rainbow bars. Their usual rate for me is $6k from 8pm to whatever fuck time I want the next day, excl BF of course Hope they are ok.

The Bars & The Bar Owners

I’m not exaggerating when I say some bar areas are going to look rather different when the lights come back on. It’s a month since bars were ordered closed and already some big name bars have called it quits, including some very big names this past week.

Before the bars were ordered closed, Mandarin in Nana Plaza announced it would close temporarily. London Calling in Nana Plaza had also closed.

Last week Titanium in Sukhumvit soi 22 announced that it would not reopen. Hardly industry-changing, but what happened next could be…

This week the rumour did the rounds that the Rainbow bars in Nana Plaza had called it a day on their time in the industry. First it was said all of the Rainbow bars, then just 1 and 3. Exactly what the story is, I have been unable to confirm but for sure, the future of some of the Rainbow bars is up in the air.

Truth is LOCALS dont like or want foreigner accessed sex industry, they keep their own playgrounds for themselves and will try and shut foreigner targeted places esp when countries are moving into middle income bracket where local patronage is sufficient to support itself and doesn't need foreign money
